Born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Karan Singh is an Indian artist, educator, and creative visionary whose artistic journey spans over five decades. Trained at some of India's most respected institutions—including the Government Institute of Fine Arts, Indore, and the Sir J.J. School of Art tradition through advanced studies—he developed a multidisciplinary practice that seamlessly bridges portraiture, landscapes, abstraction, sculpture, installations, and photography.

Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has remained deeply inspired by the cultural richness of India and the changing rhythms of everyday life. His paintings are distinguished by their lyrical use of colour, expressive forms, and a remarkable ability to transform memory, emotion, and philosophy into visual experiences.
